SOC Analyst

Course Overview

SOC Analysts hold a critical role within security teams as they are at the forefront of cyber defense, actively detecting and responding to cyber threats in real-time.

B2S's SOC Analyst training course is tailored for both aspiring and current SOC Analysts who aim to master skills in preventing, detecting, evaluating, and responding to cybersecurity threats and incidents. This course is the initial stage in a series that progresses from Level 1-SOC Analyst to Level 2-SOC Specialist, designed to equip you with the necessary technical skills for performing complex SOC operations.

The training starts with the basics of SOC team structures and Blue Team operations and then delves into more complex subjects such as digital forensics, incident response, threat intelligence, and the use of SIEM (Security Incident and Event Management) tools.

Pre-requisite

It is recommended that you have a basic understanding of networking fundamentals, operating systems, and troubleshooting. Experience in an entry-level SOC Analyst, Cyber Security Analyst, or Information Security role is advisable. Additionally, having two years of experience in the Information Security domain is beneficial.
